The wife and I are in NYC for Christmas.  During our last NYC trip, we saw How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.  It was an AMAZING show.  I was already a Radcliffe fan due to Harry Potter, and this just made me an even bigger fan.

During this trip, we decided to try to meet Radcliffe after a show.  We got to the theatre about 45 minutes before the show ended.  By the time Radcliffe came out, there were hundreds of people waiting.  Luckily, we had a spot in the front row along the railing.

Radcliffe was very friendly, signing about 75 autographs and posing for a handful of pictures.  He signed 3 items for us.  Two Playbills and a program.

It was a great experience.  We are seeing the show again tomorrow night, and this will only add to the enjoyment of the show.

Here are some pictures of him signing, two of our autographed items, and a goofy pic of him posing for my wife.

During my absence from the site, I picked up a few new multisigned cards.  I have really gotten into collecting multisigned items.  Here are the new additions.

I have finally completed the 2010 Allen & Ginter White Sox team set!  As an added bonus, the Alex Rios card is also partially signed by Sergio Santos!

I have added the checklist for 2011 Allen & Ginter.  This year's A&G set is definitely a bit of a departure from the A&G sets of the past.  You can click the sample images below to be taken to the checklist, or click here for the main checklist page.

Over the last few weeks, I have picked up a bunch of certified autos.  Here are some of the nicer ones.

Last week I received three autographs from Magglio Ordonez.  The autographs were obtained through the Detroit Tigers "Autographs for a Cause" program.  Magglio is one of eight current Tigers players that signs for a donation.  More information can be found here.

I just haven't had time lately to send out an TTM requests.  I used to be a TTM machine, but the last requests I sent out were in July of 2010.  I finally made myself send a few out on May 31st.  I sent to Mark Buehrle, Jon Garland, Octavio Dotel, and Magglio Ordonez.  All cards sent were for my UD project.  This week I got two of them back!

Mark Buehrle - 1/1
Jon Garland - 1/1

I am planning on sending another small batch of TTM requests later this week.  At the very least I will be sending to D.J. Carrasco, Dustin Hermanson, Don Johnson, Billy Pierce, Cliff Politte, & Bob Wilson.

When I began my various projects, I knew some players would be very tough.  In some cases, those tough players had MANY cards in the different sets I was attempting to complete.  One of those players is Scott Podsednik.

If you've ever tried graphing Scotty Pods in person, you know what I'm talking about.  He isn't the nicest guy.  Of course, he has 4 different Upper Deck cards in a Sox uniform, not to mention Allen & Ginter cards.  I also needed him for my rookie card project.  So I fully expected most, if not all of these cards to remain unsigned for quite a while.

Well, when Scott signed a minor league deal with the Phillies, I immediately contacted every grapher I know in Lehigh Valley, where their AAA team plays.  I was able to strike consigment deals with three of them, for a total of 10 cards.  I sent 2 of each Upper Deck card I needed, as well as an 06 A&G and a 01 Donruss Class of 2001 rookie card.  I doubled up on the UD cards as I was fairly certain each guy would be lucky to get one card done, and wanted to increase my chances of getting the UD stuff completed.

Well, lo and behold!  Nine of the cards have been sent back signed.  Not only are all of the UD cards done... I now have doubles of 3 of the 4!

Here are the six different Podsedniks in all of their glory!
