I had quite a few mail successes in the last few days.  From this point on, I won't show every single autograph received TTM on the main page.  To see all scans, you have to visit the mailbag.  I'll just show the highlights on the main page.  And here they are:

I got some nice TTM stuff back this week, including the fastest return I have ever received.  It took THREE days for these Roberto Hernandez autographs to find their way back to me.

I got two things in the mail today, one TTM success and one purchase.  We'll start with the purchase:

Rocky has been at the top of my wantlist for a long time, so I am thrilled to finally have him!  I could have gotten a nice Colavito any time I wanted, but I was determined to get a Sox item... and the only Sox item available of Rocky (to the best of my knowledge) is this Topps card.  I've seen this card signed before, but usually with a faint, ball point signature.  Not only is this signature bold, but he add his career HR total!  I am completely stoked!

I also got a TTM success from Brian Anderson.  He signed 2 8x10 photos for me, though one of them is smeared a bit.  He didn't add the inscription I asked for, but I guess you can't have everything!

I got back 1/1 from Gustavo Molina this week, c/o the Washington Nationals:

I also picked up a great HOFer autograph.  Most people don't even know he played for the Sox, so I'm very pleased that I was able to find a signed White Sox item:

Last, but certainly not lease, I got back the stuff I sent to MAB Celebrity Services for the Secaucus NJ show on February 28.  All three photos are 16x20s.

Tom Seaver

Steve Carlton

Doug Drabek

I'll be sending the Seaver 16x20 back to MAB for the April 4th show in Sturbridge MA, where Carlton Fisk will be signing.  I can't wait to frame that bad boy once they've both signed it!

I only had one TTM success this week.  I received 1/1 from Jeff Marquez.

I did get one amazing item that I bought on eBay, and it more than makes up for the lack of TTM returns.

I finally got a Nellie Fox autograph, complete with PSA/DNA authentication!  Bill Veeck and Nellie Fox were the 2 names at the top of my "realistic" wantlist for a LOOOOOONG time, and now I've got them both!  Not only that, but this gets me one step closer to completing most of the subsets I am working on.  I needed Nellie for the following collections: HOF, All-Stars, 1959, & Award Winners.

I got 4 TTM successes this week, 2 of which are particularly excellent.  I got a signed 2005 World Series ball from Mark Buehrle:

I also got an 8x10 from "The Cuban Missile", Alexei Ramirez!

I also got 2/2 from Cole Armstrong (in ball point, ugh) and Chris Stewart.

Well, I got an awesome success today... only it wasn't.  For the first time, I sent 16x20s TTM.  I sent 4 of them to John Danks, and said in my letter that he could keep 2, and asking if he would please sign 2.  He did sign 2 of them for me, but they didn't turn out well at all.  =(

If you can't see it, the first photo is signed "To Doug, Tiebreaker 9-30-08, John Danks".  The second is just signed.  Oh well, it was still extremely nice of him to sign them for me!  Thanks John!!!
