I’m not going to lie. Luis Aparicio doesn’t seem to be a very likable person. I only met him once, but he was cranky and rude. That fits with other stories I’ve heard about people that have met him. Maybe he was different when he was younger, who knows?
But he was a heck of a player, and is certainly one of the most legendary White Sox players. So I’ve amassed a decent collection of “Little Looey” autographs.
