National Sports Card Convention – Part 2

During my time at the National I also made some purchases. I was pretty disappointed in my haul. With the show being in Chicago, I was hoping there would be more Sox autographs and memorabilia. I probably missed some stuff, but what I did see was pretty underwhelming. In any case, here is my haul.

Last but certainly not least, I got one more autograph while I was in town. I won’t go into the details, but I met up with Carlos May to get this 16×20 signed. I’m terrified to send it through the mail, so I am extremely grateful to Carlos for agreeing to meet with me to sign it. Now I just need to figure out how to get Bill Melton without the photo being damaged in the mail.

Some New Tim Anderson Autographed Cards

First off, let me say how happy I am that Tim Anderson has been named to the All-Star team. It’s hard to believe this is his first All-Star game. Somehow he was snubbed in 2019 when he won the batting title, and then there was no All-Star game last year when he almost certainly would have made it.

In honor of his… honor, here are 5 new Tim Anderson cards I picked up recently as part of a pretty large, pretty cool lot. I’ll be posting that haul over the next few posts.

Tim Anderson Private Signing

I recently participated in a Tim Anderson private signing with BM Authentics. They took good care of my items, and even texted me pictures of the items after they were signed. Some of their prices are a bit high (I believe their recent private signing with Codi Heuer cost more than the Anderson signing), but at least you’re getting good service for the money!

I plan on getting some premiums done at his next signing, but for now I got his Ginters and rookie refractor done.
