Sases for Sox: Claude Osteen

Claude Osteen pitched the final year of his career for the White Sox in 1975. He was part of the starting rotation with fellow veterans Jim Kaat and Wilbur Wood. He didn’t have a great year, but that doesn’t negate the nice 18 year career he had. He made 3 All-Star teams, won 20 games twice, and pitched well in the 1965 and 1966 World Series.

Claude did a private signing not too long ago, and I got 4 cards done at that time. But I didn’t have his rookie then, so I sent him a few cards, which he was gracious enough to sign and return. Thanks Mr. Osteen!
