Tom Egan spent most of his career with the Angels, but he did spend the 1971-72 seasons with the Sox. He had a solid year in 1971, splitting catching duties with Ed Herrmann. He had a 104 OPS+ and 10 home runs in part time play. Tom has been a reliable mail signer for a long time, but it had been a very long time since I’d sent to him. So I picked up a rookie and 1973 O-Pee-Chee, which Mr. Egan graciously signed.
